RSHC is proud to share Eli Litoff and Brian Watson’s inclusion in the inaugural class of Crain’s Notable Rising Stars in Law. Eli and Brian serve as leaders within and outside the firm and have made notable impacts in the field of law.

RSHC Managing Partner Patricia Brown Holmes is being honored as a “Managing Partner of the Year” by the Corporate Counsel’s annual Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards program. These awards honor general counsel, in-house leaders and law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law. In recognizing Judge Holmes, the WIPL selection committee noted her role in shaping RSHC’s culture and designing explicit policies that ensure accountability on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Under her leadership, the firm has been recognized by Chambers as “a true diversity and inclusion pioneer for the profession” and was recently noted in Law360’s Diversity Snapshot Report for having one of industry’s the most diverse equity partnerships.

The Best Lawyers list was first published in 1983 and is universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence.

As a named Chambers D&I Awards finalist and noted as “a true diversity and inclusion pioneer for the profession,” RSHC is honored to contribute a Case Study to the tenth annual Chambers Diversity & Inclusion North America Report 2021. This best practice guide features innovative and supportive initiatives that further racial inclusion in the workplace, demonstrate measurable progress, and broaden the cultural shift.

We are pleased to announce that RSHC attorney Ariel Wilson has been selected as a 2021 Michigan Rising Star in General Litigation for 3 consecutive years, and Partner Greg Curtner has been selected as a 2021 Michigan Super Lawyer in Antitrust Litigation for 16 consecutive years.

RSHC congratulates San Francisco Partner Meghan McMeel on her selection as a 2021 Northern California Rising Star, and Partners Steve Hankins, Jeff Williams, and Of Counsel Bruce Wagman on their selection as 2021 Northern California Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers and Rising Stars are highly regarded by their peers for professional achievement and excellence in the practice of law. Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila has been recognized by Chambers as “a true diversity and inclusion pioneer for the legal profession.” RSHC has been shortlisted as one of 12 U.S. finalists for the Chambers D&I North America 2021 “Outstanding Firm for Furthering Diversity and Inclusion” award, which aims to recognize a firm that is demonstrating broadly measurable impact in advocating for and implementing an inclusive work environment with originality and deep commitment. The winner will be announced at a June 17 award ceremony.

RSHC is honored to be named by BTI Consulting Group as one of the top law firms that provided outstanding client service during the COVID-19 pandemic. The BTI list recognized law firms that distinguished themselves by eliminating red tape and quickly moving to answer client questions with detailed, pointed advice.

We are proud to announce 12 RSHC attorneys have been selected to the 2021 Illinois Super Lawyers and 2021 Illinois Rising Stars lists. For the 11th time, Patricia Brown Holmes has been ranked a Top 50 Women Super Lawyer. Both Ron Safer and Patricia Brown Holmes have been recognized as Top 100 Illinois Super Lawyers.
