The Legal Secretary will be responsible for supporting several attorneys by performing a variety of administrative duties, including drafting legal documents, communicating with clients and various court personnel. Intellectual Property Associate - San Francisco, CA / Chicago, IL

Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP ( seeks a mid-level to senior-level associate to join our Intellectual Property team in our San Francisco and/or Chicago offices.  We are looking for someone who can help with our growing patent litigation docket.  We are a national law firm of litigators, trial lawyers, and transactional attorneys with offices in Chicago, San Francisco, New York, and Ann Arbor.  We care about our clients and each other, so we live our shared beliefs: driving innovation in the business of law, promoting diversity, and serving our communities.  Teamed with seasoned lawyers, our associates receive hands-on legal experience early in their careers.  Our IP clients are primarily in the medical device, electronic, mechanical, and consumer products industries and we assist them in enforcement, defense, ITC, and PTAB proceedings.  All applicants should have: 3-6 years of law firm experience that includes patent litigation, excellent writing and research skills, a USPTO registration or an interest in obtaining USPTO registration, and the demonstrated ability to work well in teams.  To apply, please send a resume, cover letter, law school transcript, and writing sample to Sarah Youngblood-Bates at
