The power of diversity is the power of collective wisdom.

Diversity & Inclusion

Diverse and inclusive teams are better teams. Better teams deliver better results. At RSHC “diversity” “equity” and “inclusion” are not simply buzzwords, but the essence of our law firm – not just because it is right, not just because a law firm should reflect those we serve, but because of the fundamental truth that the more diverse, equitable, and inclusive our teams, the better the solutions and the greater the value that we produce for our clients.

We believe actions speak louder than words. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is real and demonstrable – but don’t just take our word for it, here’s a list of some of the recent recognitions we have received as a result of “walking the walk” on DEI:

RSHC Attorneys Presenting at the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law #MeToo Event

RSHC Partner, Drahcir Marie Smith, will be a panelist at the April 17th Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law panel event, “Navigating the Gray Area in the World of #MeToo,” to be held at Katten Muchin Rosenman, in Chicago.  The event is designed to foster an open discussion about sexual harassment in the workplace.  The in-person event is free and also available to be watched via livestream.

RSHC Associate and moderator, Stephanie Jones, will guide the panel to focus on the “what now?” in the wake of the #MeToo movement. Panelists from diverse employment backgrounds will share their insights from the perspective of counsel, advisor, employee, employer, journalist, investigator, and even victim.

The Coalition is a nonprofit membership association comprised of representatives of women’s initiatives in Chicago and New York offices of law firms and corporations. Its mission is to benefit its member firms and companies and its individual in-house counsel members by providing positive avenues of communication, collaboration, and guidance that help members to 1) enhance the recruitment, retention, and promotion of women lawyers and 2) support the building, implementation, and continued relevancy of women's initiatives in law firms and companies.

For more information or if you would like to attend the panel event, please contact Stephanie Jones (sjones@rshc-law.com).
