RSHC Prepared City of Chicago’s Amicus Brief Against President Trump’s Travel Ban

Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila had the privilege of working with the City of Chicago in preparing an important amicus brief on behalf of the Cities of Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and other major U.S. cities and counties, who have been negatively affected by President Trump’s new executive order.

“The City is grateful for Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP’s contribution to our efforts to protect the rights of immigrants and refugees and to defend Chicago’s status as a city that embraces diversity and promotes inclusion,” said Corporation Counsel Ed Siskel. The City’s amicus brief was prepared with the pro bono assistance of Ryan R. Poscablo, Brian Neff, Nick Kahlon and Eli Lopez.
