For us, diversity and inclusion begin with the names on our door, extends through our partnership and associate ranks, and informs our recruiting, staffing, and vendor choices. We believe that lawyers from different backgrounds provide a better perspective on the problems that our clients face. While several partners lead our diversity efforts, all of our lawyers carry this banner. Many have won awards honoring their commitment to diversity. We are dedicated to attracting, retaining, nurturing, and advancing lawyers from all groups and walks of life and intend to maintain and expand our inclusive culture.

Patricia Brown Holmes is an inspirational leader in the legal and greater community. SheHolmes personifies justice, equality, inclusion and hope. She is a highly respected and accomplished lawyer with a reputation for excellence, integrity and unerring judgment.

She is a full-time mentor, coach and friend to countless lawyers. She lifts up people in the Chicago community every day, bettering the lives of others. She founded a new law firm this year, which bears her name. If we created a model of the ideal lawyer in the Chicago community, the result would depict the qualities that she embodies.
