RSHC’s Patricia Brown Holmes Interviewed by Today’s Managing Partner
Today's Managing Partner profiled RSHC Managing Partner Patricia Brown Holmes in an interview that underscores the dynamic leadership required of today’s law firms. In a conversation covering mentoring, authenticity, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, Holmes shared her perspective on RSHC’s success in recruiting and retention.
“Finding great talent isn’t easy, but we’ve been fortunate to find hard-charging individuals who understand the demands,” Holmes told the publication. “They are competent, professional, and know how to serve our clients.”
Holmes also shared some of her favorite approaches when interviewing attorney candidates, and the importance of valuing our workplaces enough to show up as our true selves: “Because if you show up as somebody you’re not, it eventually takes over. We only have one life to live, and I learned that as a cancer survivor. I was told I had six months to live, and I have now survived 26 years. And what that teaches you is that there are no do-overs. Any second you spend is a second that you’ll never get back. Time is the most valuable currency we have.”
