Keyonn L. Pope Named 2023 Intellectual Property Trailblazer by National Law Journal
The National Law Journal honored RSHC's Keyonn L. Pope, Partner and Intellectual Property Practice Team Leader, as a 2023 IP Trailblazer. Keyonn is recognized (alongside his team) for persuading the D.C. Superior Court to expressly recognize postmortem Right of Publicity. In the same manner as rights in and ownership of physical property, residents of Washington, D.C. now have certainty regarding their estate’s control and ownership of their name, image, and likeness after death.
