Back to School with Title IX
On the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the Department of Education announced its proposed rule amending the statute’s implementing regulations. Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities that receive federal funding. The proposed changes aim to ensure full protection for students from all forms of sex-based discrimination.
