Former Federal Prosecutor Abigail Peluso Joins RSHC
Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP (RSHC) welcomes new partner Abigail Peluso to our Government Enforcement, Investigations & White Collar Criminal Defense practice.
Peluso joins the firm following eleven years with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois, where she served in both the Civil and Criminal Divisions, most recently as a Deputy Chief in the General Crimes Section, where she trained and supervised new federal prosecutors.
Peluso led teams through nearly a dozen trials, including both jury and bench trials, and she prosecuted complex criminal cases, including matters involving public corruption, financial fraud, and health care fraud. She also briefed and argued appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. At RSHC, she will leverage this experience to advise clients dealing with an array of complex legal issues, including government enforcement actions, internal and external investigations, and white collar criminal matters.
