Bio
Tara Wendell’s broad, hands-on experience as a summer associate, journalist, and research assistant has equipped her with a suite of skills needed for a successful career as a litigation associate at Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila. In addition to assisting with litigation as a summer associate, Tara developed an in-depth understanding of trial preparation and courtroom procedures and presentation through over a decade of mock trial experience, which included participation in Georgetown Law’s nationally ranked Trial Advocacy program.
Tara is a strong writer accustomed to working on tight deadlines and synthesizing complex information to present to juries and judges. Tara has written full drafts of several motions, discussed new case theories with senior attorneys and partners, and prepared partners for oral arguments. She strategically crafts arguments that promote her client’s interests and prevent the opposing party from controlling the proceedings.
Tara's flexible approach allows her to adapt to the unique challenges of each matter. She values diversity and collaboration and enjoys working closely with clients and teammates to reach successful resolutions.Credentials
