Her experience includes conducting extensive fact and expert discovery as well as drafting dispositive motions and briefs for mediation and arbitration. Maegan has drafted and argued successful motions in limine to help her clients properly limit the evidence to be presented at trial. She has also prepared and examined witnesses both at depositions and at trial.

  • Significant experience in defending insurance companies in multimillion-dollar litigations, including defending an insurance company against a $100 million claim through trial, resulting in a successful settlement prior to verdict.
  • Counseled company on compliance with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) after the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) issued new rules.
  • Obtained a favorable settlement for client who was wrongfully convicted for a crime he did not commit and incarcerated for 29 years.
