A former prosecutor with experience in jury trials and motion practice, Nick Sherman focuses his work on litigation in white collar matters, as well as commercial and intellectual property disputes.
Nick is adept at securing, reviewing, and analyzing complex material through public record requests and other investigative resources. Having served as a deputy district attorney, he is also well-versed in handling and evaluating complex financial documentation related to allegations of fraud and forgery. Clients value the strong communication skills he brings to his practice and the competitive drive and work ethic that fuels his work on their behalf.
With experience in interviewing and cross-examining expert witnesses, as well as preparing and reviewing evidence for trials, preliminary examinations, and evidentiary hearings, as a prosecutor Nick managed a large docket of criminal cases and took five jury trials to verdict. This early courtroom experience informs his practice as a litigator, researcher, and investigator, enabling him to offer clients an insightful and pragmatic perspective on their legal risks and options.
