He leverages his down-to-earth, collaborative nature, and laser-like focus to provide his clients the maximum advantage.
Joe focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He represents and advises clients involved in antitrust, class action, product liability, and business tort litigation. He has served on multiple trial teams in tobacco-related product liability trials and coordinated the defense in a series of complex product liability cases. Joe served as the first-chair lawyer in a $5 million consumer securities fraud arbitration resulting in a favorable outcome for his client. He also successfully argued for dismissal of a $20 million lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan brought by a disgruntled Belgian vacuum cleaner distributor, securing dismissal of all claims with prejudice at the pleading stage.
Experiential opportunities are key to Joe. He has a deep appreciation for nature-based activities, including cycling, hiking, backpacking, camping, and fly fishing. Joe also cherishes sharing outdoor experiences with his wife and two-year-old daughter.
