Bio
Harry Chipeta Jr. has the persistence and determination to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals—to go to law school, to become a great lawyer, and to win because a client’s future depends on it. Having clerked for two Illinois Appellate Court justices who set the bar high, Harry’s grit, sustained commitment, and hard work enable him to succeed at whatever he sets his mind to. Since unsurpassed storytelling skills are needed to be a great trial lawyer, and all cases are reducible to the simplest of stories, Harry enjoys taking complicated language and writing and making it clear and understandable to lay persons. His strong listening skills help him develop trusting relationships with clients and teammates, and when the play turns towards him, he is totally engaged and ready to contribute.
Harry focuses his practice in product liability and complex litigation, representing clients before state and federal courts. As a judicial law clerk, Harry assisted the Judge in all aspects of appellate practice, including reviewing trial records, conducting legal research, and drafting judicial opinions in both civil and criminal cases.
Originally from Malawi in Africa, Harry takes pride in inspiring others to chase their dreams. He is also an avid soccer fan; a Liverpool FC red!
