Barbara Krause has broad experience counseling technology companies, lending institutions, investors, and executives in debt and equity finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and general corporate governance. She also counsels impact investors and multinational development organizations on various impact initiatives and advises venture-backed startups on general legal matters.
In addition to her extensive private practice experience, Barb also practiced in-house for nearly four years with Singularity University, a Bay Area technology incubator focused on corporate innovation and social impact. She started her legal career advising multinational corporations in international business transactions with Bryan Cave LLP in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved west to practice corporate and commercial finance in Palo Alto, California with DLA Piper LLP and Bingham McCutcheon LLP.
Barb regularly mentors entrepreneurs through several Bay Area incubators and accelerators and serves as adjunct faculty to Santa Clara University Law School’s Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic.
