As a former Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York, Amory Minot consistently responded “ready for trial” under the most difficult of circumstances. It meant that, even with limited preparation time, complicated facts, stilted juries, and pressing judges, Amory always presented the most compelling and winning arguments.
Amory has carried her winning traits into private practice where she represents clients facing difficult circumstances. Her ease under pressure, calm demeanor, and amiable personality allow her to deftly navigate through layered real-time situations. Whether it is representing companies in high value litigation or representing an individual under investigation, Amory uses her experience and skills to deliver maximum results for her clients.
While at RSHC, Amory has navigated her way through federal courts to housing court; from defending large national corporations in product liability actions to advocating for individuals who have been discriminated by their former employer. Amory’s experience at the District Attorney’s Office has also primed her for counseling individual clients who face federal and state criminal charges. Her keen eye has also made Amory an integral part of assisting in third-party investigations. Amory has worked on investigations ranging from higher education discrimination claims to a sexual misconduct investigation for a prestigious New York publication company.
Amory is confident, disciplined, and persistent—traits she developed while a scholar-athlete in college, and which she refined in the courtroom. As an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York City, she charged the toughest crimes in the City’s toughest borough. She has significant trial and courtroom experience and managed a case load ranging from misdemeanor crimes to serious violent felony offenses.
